Outdated Plant Documentation and Training

Even if your plant originally had good training material, operating procedures, drawings and other documentation, you are not alone if they have become outdated over the years. This is very common but the good news is, it can be remedied.

In addition to developing new material for new construction projects, Tri-Tech has very extensive experience with documentation at existing plants. It may involve an update to existing material that has not been kept up to date. Older plants may require new development using all known existing resources. In every case, Tri-Tech can bring your documents up to excellence.

These documents may include:

  • Training Manuals / System Descriptions
  • Standard Operating Procedures
  • On-the-Job Program Checklists
  • Maintenance Procedures
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
  • Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
  • Policies and Procedures and more

We are often asked "How can an outside company come in to our plant and develop training and procedures better than our own folks who have been running it for 30 years?"

Great question! We don't come into your plant believing we know everything your folks know. But this is a team effort! We bring experienced people. We know plants. We know what to ask for; we know how to work with your seasoned staff. There is no blank paper starting point. Tri-Tech has developed and fine-tuned this process over many years and many projects. Your folks have a plant to run. Developing this material is our specialty. So together, the job gets accomplished in a relatively short time compared to what on-shift staff can do while running a plant.
